Commetrex Launches Fax Community on TMCnet

TMC announced today that the Fax community, sponsored by Commetrex, has been launched as the newest addition to the TMCnet Online Community program.

The Fax community is designed for decision-makers from service providers and enterprise fax OEMs seeking information about fax technologies including Fax-over-IP (FoIP) and media-processing software. Information on the Fax community addresses issues important to decision-makers in the digital media and telephony market. Visitors – including anyone from developers to executives – to the Fax community can find valuable resources such as feature articles, industry news, and thought-leading commentary.

While technologies across all spectrums and platforms rapidly speed through developments making communications easier, faster, and less costly for businesses, fax is one of those technologies that many feel has been left behind. With the booming smartphone industry, the ever-expanding cloud, and VoIP systems surpassing each other in breadth and impact daily, it would seem as though fax is the little kid who missed the bus. In fact, this notion is untrue, and the opposite is demonstrated and actively pursued by the industry thought leaders at Commetrex.

As technology in communications continues to advance, some platforms are completely replaced by innovations that are bigger, better and simply more efficient. Others, such as fax technology, are simply evolving to fit the demands of the business of today.

As a leader in fax and fax-over-IP (FoIP) technologies, Commetrex has seen the transition of communications solutions evolve for decades. Beginning as a company developing media-processing technologies, and licensing the solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Commetrex has focused on fax technology for over 15 years.
