Disruptive Networking Technology In Focus at ITEXPO Miami Later This Month
TMC, has added a special pre-conference workshop to their popular ITEXPO program designed to provide some
clarity to businesses and service providers investing in or investigating Software Defined Networking (SDN).
The event will be held as a pre-conference workshop on Tuesday, January 29th during TMC’s ITEXPO Miami 2013
at the Miami Beach Convention Center. ITEXPO takes place January 30th-February 1st.
Registration is open now, and is also included with any ITEXPO paid registration plan.
According to TMC CEO Rich Tehrani, “Software-defined networking is considered by many to be one of the most
important, and potentially disruptive, developments in networking since the rise of the Internet.”
“To date, networks and connectivity have come first, and applications have followed. SDN turns this model on its head,
approaching networking from an apps-first standpoint,” Tehrani explained.
In this SDN pre conference at ITEXPO Miami, you will get:
• Detailed overview of SDN
• Examination of the technologies and components involved in SDN
• Summary of the use cases of SDN
• Comparison of the players involved in moving SDN forward
• Expert analysis on what SDN could mean for networking as we know it.
Conference sessions at the SDN Workshop address the definition of and use cases of Software-Defined Networking; how enterprises
can leverage SDN to their advantage; the use cases for SDN in service provider and data center applications; and how SDN can be
part of an entirely new approach to networking; how SDN can relates to installed networks.
• Software-Defined Networking 101
• SDN in the Enterprise
• The Role of SDN in Network Evolution
• SDN Roundup
Admission to SDN Pre-Conference workshop is included with any paid ITEXPO registration plan, or can be purchased separately on the SDN Workshop site.
