Case Study U Returns to ITEXPO & Calls for Speakers

Submissions now being accepted from high-level IT executives for end-user-focused programming

TMC and Connect2 Communications announced the return of Case Study U to ITEXPO. Case Study U, held January 29, 2014, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, is a unique session series where leading CIOs and technology executives share how they are addressing real-world issues as they maintain and grow next-generation enterprise networks.

“Case Study U is a ‘must see’ at ITEXPO—it’s a unique opportunity for IT professionals to learn best practices and tips for dealing with some of the enterprise’s most difficult networking challenges. The series of panels will bring together experts from a variety of markets, including CIOs, directors of IT, vice presidents of information technology services and more, to offer attendees creative, successful techniques for solving a broad range of IT issues,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and conference chairman.

At Case Study U, CIOs will discuss where modern enterprise IT is heading next…and best strategies to get there. Sessions will tackle hot topics effecting businesses today, and the real-world case studies will serve as an example of how technology can increase business success. The interactive series of panels will follow a Q&A format moderated by leading industry analysts and editors. Interviews with Case Study U speakers will be featured alongside other intriguing stories, white papers and case studies on TMC’s new CaseStudyU editorial Website.

The Call for Speakers for the Case Study U session series at ITEXPO is now open and accepting abstract submissions on the following topics:

  • Locking Down the Enterprise: Keeping Sensitive Data Safe in the Cloud and On-Premises
  • BYOD 2.0: What Will Employees Think of Next?
  • Cloud Control: Crafting a Strategy for Managed and Hosted Services
  • Virtualization Realization: When, Where and Why
  • 2014: IT Priorities, Realities and Fictions
  • Collaboration Sensation: Have We Already Found the Killer App for UC?

Those with a case study surrounding these trending topics are urged to submit proposed speaker, company name, and topic (within the session titles above) to Ashley Baster at [email protected]. Enterprise equipment manufacturers/vendors are not eligible to speak at Case Study U, but are welcome—and encouraged—to submit their end customers.

“It’s important for IT planners and managers to stay on the cutting edge of technology, and Case Study U provides a first-hand account of which strategies and deployments are working and which are not,” said Michael Vizard, Case Study U content coordinator, independent IT editor and regular contributor to IT Business Edge, CIO Insight, ProgrammableWeb and Slashdot. “Attendees will learn actionable advice from IT leaders on how to successfully create and manage networks that are more efficient, cost-effective and high-performing.”
